RNCP-certified art therapist · Photographer · Event creator
Through photography, art therapy and immersive bubbles, I invite everyone to explore the beauty of their inner world, to find harmony between body, heart and mind by connecting with creativity.
My work links art, wellbeing and creativity: I support people through art therapy, I capture their essence in photos, and I design spaces for encounter and transformation through immersive events and workshops.
At the heart of everything I do is one intention: to help everyone (re)connect with their joy, their light and their creative energy. I love creating spaces where we can let go, feel, express ourselves freely; where creativity becomes a path back to oneself.
"Sonia the explorer, my friends say — but I'd even say ExplorArtist."
I've always had this inability to stay put, this desire to see everything, live everything, be everywhere at once. It's nothing new: when I was younger, I did a thousand activities, a thousand projects… and almost never finished them. A thirst for curiosity? Or simply a need to explore?
For years, when people asked me “What do you do for a living?” I would answer: “I live.” Because it was too complicated to sum up any other way. I've been a real Swiss Army knife: fashion, communication, events, hospitality, working with artists, contributing to projects that have meaning…
I've known surges, very high highs, very low lows, new beginnings, stops, returns to zero. These passages taught me to clarify what truly matters.
In a darker period, I needed to put color back into my life — literally. I took a canvas and some paint, and let myself go without trying to make anything in particular, just letting go, letting emotions out…
And then came photography, where I worked with color associations to work on certain emotions. Photography, in the end, had always been there (an artist family, after all), but I had never given it its true place.
Art therapy began during Covid. My activities were halted, like everyone's, but I told myself it would be good to explore something new — a desire to go deep into something. Psychology has always spoken to me (I grew up surrounded by people in fragile states: bipolarity, borderline, addictions, attempts…) but I didn't just want to understand. I needed to create with it.
And then I discovered art therapy. And it made sense. Truly!
Apsara World is the natural reflection of this path: a space where we can explore, express ourselves, set things down, reconnect, breathe… and shine.
